Facebook to Network & Rank Your Business

Photo copyright by Nik. Get your business face out to the world!

With your own business Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with people. It is a great reminder to others that you are selling a product or service.

Facebook is free and easy to join. Simply use a search engine such as Google to join by typing in Facebook.com.

Create a profile on Facebook. You can put a picture of yourself to make your profile more personal. You can add more photos later to an area of your page. The pictures should show you and your family and photos of your business. Make it very personal so people really get to know you and what your business is all about.

Fill out the information portion of your page. This will show off your business, education, hobbies, links to your business’s website, etc.

On Facebook it is simple to add contacts. You can use the Facebook’s search feature to find people you know. Most people use their real first and last names. Some women use their first name, maiden name and married name to help people find them easier.

By using Facebook to network and rank your business you will help to get your business out there. By getting your business noticed you are sure to sell more of your product and/or services.

Post a link to your business in your comment section five times per week so you help to rate your business higher in Google and other search engine websites.

For example:
If you sell crafts simply use the word craft, crafts and more specific words of your business people will find your website on Google, Yahoo!, etc., with your business link. Make sure you are talking to your friends when using this site and do not make it sound too promotional unless you are using the business Facebook page. If you use the business webpage you will not get your page shut down. The business webpage is there just to help you promote your products and/or business.
