Earn Money Pet Sitting

People go out of town on vacations or have business meetings out of town. Many folks are looking for someone to take care of their beloved pet(s). Dog kennels are not for everyone. Keeping a person’s pet for the majority of the time locked in a cage and not much interaction with people while the owner is gone, is not a very good thought to most people who love their pets dearly.

You can start up your own pet sitting business. You can earn money pet sitting. You can offer to pet sit in your home or overnight in the pet owner’s home.

First you will want to create a pet sitting name for your company. Use pet sitting in the title for people to remember easily.

Next you will want to advertise locally. Advertise where you will want to drive to or the mileage you think people are willing to travel to, to use your services. Advertise by hanging signs in local grocery stories, Laundromats, restaurants, small local newspapers and possibly city newspapers if you are in the vicinity. Make your ad look fun like you will play with the pet owner’s animal(s).

If you are going to pet sit in your home make sure it is pet friendly. You will want to set your house up just as if you are having a toddler enter your home. The last thing you want to happen is a little dog choking on a toy or item from your floor.

If you are going to pet sit in the owner’s home you can raise your price. You will be staying overnight and taking care of the owner’s pet in their surroundings. The owner will have a peace of mind knowing his or her dog, cat, rabbits, etc., have a companion. You will still be working feeding and watering the pets, taking care of their bathroom needs and most likely taking the pet for a few walks.

You may offer to pet sit and go to work during the day. You will return to the pet owner’s home after work to stay the night.

If you enjoy animals than pet sitting is a perfect way for you to earn extra money. For more information please visit: http://www.preparednessmentor.com/ .
