If you love children than earning easy money from babysitting is perfect for you. It is not easy watching children all day. The “easy” part of babysitting comes from the amount of time you will be babysitting.
A lot of parents work and need to get to work before their children have to go to school. You would be the answer to parent’s prayers. Your babysitting would consist of before school and after school.
Parents could drop their child or children off at your home before they head to work. You would just have to let parents know what time your babysitting business opens. Some people need to get to work by 5:00 a.m. so they may ask if 4:15 a.m. is okay to drop the kids off. This may or may not be okay with you. Most before school babysitters open their home up at 6:00 a.m.
If you are home all day you may want to baby-sit after school, too. If you live close to the elementary school you can pick up the children and walk home. Otherwise, you can pick up some of the children and parents would have to work it out to have someone drop their child or children off at your house.
Before and after school you will want to offer healthy snacks. After school you may want to offer help with homework depending on the ages and how many children you are watching. You can organize a dedicated area for homework for the older children that have to get work done.
You will want to figure out ahead of time the amount to charge per child based on snack cost and homework services. Since you will be watching children for only a limited amount of time during the day, most parents really need someone they can depend on so you can charge a higher fee.
You will need to check your state laws to find out how many children you are able to baby-sit for at a time. If there are two adults you can add more children to your babysitting business.
If you have never babysat, use friends and/or previous employers as references.
Enjoy making easy money babysitting for a few hours a day and have the majority of your day free to do things you want to do. For more information please visit: http://www.preparednessmentor.com/.
