Make Money Tutoring

These days so many children need extra help with their homework. Gone are the days we adults went to school. Things are learned much earlier and quicker. In kindergarten children already learn how to write sentences. Granted, not all of the words will be spelled correctly as some words are spelled phonetically.

If you are competent in school classes you could become a tutor for children. You could become a tutor for any age. Parents are charged $20.00 to $40.00 an hour for a tutor. Parents do pay this amount of money as they want their child or children to pass.

I work in the school system and much of the schoolwork you can do. As long as the child brings the book, all of the directions are in the book. I have found a lot of the answers for children’s homework are bolded in the textbook. This starts to occur in fourth and fifth grade especially in science and social studies. You can easily find answers in the back of the book. The main keywords used in each chapter are in the back of the book like a dictionary. You can find the definition to the word and the page number the word is used. This is extremely helpful to find out your answers.

I would expect the students you would have would be fifth grade and up. Fourth grade starts to get pretty tough with a lot of homework. Most parents are still able to help their children at this level. Fifth grade starts to get pretty hard. A lot of parents do not have time, due to careers, to help their children with homework so a tutor would be perfect.

Flash cards work well to learn. Write the word on the student’s side to read and the answer on the back of the flashcard.

Advertise at local schools and grocery stores in your neighborhood that you are available for hire.

You can make money tutoring children by helping them with their homework, spelling words and tests. For more information please visit: http://www.preparednessmentor.com/.
