If you are in need of extra money you could rent out a room in your home. As long as you have the space and are comfortable doing this, this is a perfect way to make extra money. Whether you need the money to pay your mortgage, bills, or other items renting out a room is the way to go.

For instance, does the renter of free access to the kitchen? Or maybe you want to limit kitchen times from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Then offer the kitchen again around your family dinner time. The choice is yours.

Does the room you are renting have a bathroom off of it? Or is there a bathroom near it that could just be for the renter? If so, you could charge more money for rent.
